God > Pandemic By Sabrina Santiago

GOD > PANDEMIC

With everything happening in our country today, many individuals have accepted fear to take over their lives in such a short amount of time.

The media, the “scientific facts,” the chaotic public behavior, the fearful words of others have absorbed immensely into our minds, hearts, and spirits quit a bit, and quit rapidly, if you ask me.

Right now, our world is in a fearful state and what we are visualizing currently is a world relying on their trust in man and not solely in God. I firmly believe this is the time in which we should be viewing it as a trial of our faith and not as a dictation of fear. Church, we have to be the church.

I know we all know what is happening in today’s society, and I know it is a little frightening with everything going on,

but one thing is, I know who my God is.

I don’t know what it’s like specifically where any of you might be right now, but a little update over here in Valparaiso Indiana, we might have a possible 14 day lockdown with a 48 hour notice and a positive case of the virus currently at our Porter Regional Hospital about 20 minutes away from our location.

By no means am I writing this to increase fear in anybody, but I believe being real and transparent with my audience is more respectful and rewarding to me rather than sugar coating the truth. I know what is going on and I will not pretend like it is not happening in front of our very eyes.

It is, but amongst all of this chaos, I know who my God is and my God never fails.

Hearing all of the cases, the company shutdowns, the death reports, the rumors of quarintines, the fearful words and predictions of friends and family can really sink you into the trap of fear fairly easily.

Personally speaking, my job has closed down for the time being, and I’m not sure if any of you are in this same predicament as of right now, but I hear you and I understand the fear the enemy tries to inflict in you during this time.

But listen, it’s going to be alright.

Although social media is blown up with many people’s thoughts and theories,

it tends to make me really think about how others can just believe something that is so off from what the word says.

We are all in such fear of what is “going to happen,” that we seem to forget the miracles, signs, and wonders that our God has displayed in His written word.

The events and healings that Jesus did

for His people were unending and unfailing and I think we forget that the same God who performed many healings and miracles before,

is the same God we know and serve today no matter what kind of virus.

He never changed!

The blind man, the lady with the issue of blood, the mute men, the lame men, the lepers, the crippled, the dead raised, the demon possessed, the fed congregation, the water He turned into wine, the water He walked on, the people He delivered out of Egypt, the wars He won for His people, the protection He placed on His people from sicknesses and harm, etc. etc.

Those are just some of the miracles and healings that right away come to mind but guess what? There are far more than only those events that are recorded in the Bible. Healings after healings, miracles after miracles. This is why it’s so important for us to read our Bible and know who our God is. To know His character, His personality, His ways... to know that He is the one true healer and the only redeemer!

My point is, no matter what the world makes this virus seem like, it has no power and no dominion over you.

Yes we are human and yes our flesh can become ill, but I firmly believe without a doubt that God will have a hedge of protection over His people, and if anyone does contract it in some way, I believe they will recover and it will be their testimony.

The Bible says that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.

It also says in Psalms 91:10

“There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.”

The Bible clearly says that no plague

(this includes viruses) shall come upon you.

I think it’s time for us to stop putting the glory into what the news is reporting and start putting our trust into the God who has done the miraculous even if the world doesn’t choose to look towards it.

Fear is a spirit, and planting a seed of fear can be easy. Allowing yourself, or others to water it can be even easier, but saying NO to fear can be challenging.

Our weapons against the spirit can help us through it easily and it’s by prayer and the word.

With all of that being said, know that God will protect you amongst this all.

Of course we must use wisdoms, we were given a brain for a reason. The Bible says if you lack wisdom, ask God and He will give it to you, but the parts that we can’t necessarily control are the parts I firmly believe that God will manifest himself in.

There is no need to fear what God already has in His hands. He is not surprised by this, but even though our minds can’t comprehend exactly why this might be happening, He does and it’s all in His plan.

God is coming, and He’s trying to wake some people up in this world.

No factual news report, no face-mask

can fully protect your spirit and health like

He can!

Once again, this blog isn’t to inflict fear on anybody, but to let some individuals know that we cannot bow down to fear!

Fear and sickness has no dominion over you!

Do we not know the God we serve?

Do we not know who He is?

Do not let the enemy poison you with fear.

Our God is omnipotent and powerful that even demons tremble at HIS NAME and His name alone!

Remember that during this time, guys!

I hope you all are doing well and are spending this time with God and your loved ones!

~ Coming to you from my couch,

drinking Aramaic coffee, and watching

Little House on the Prairie reruns!

Time at home can be pleasant!🥰 ~

Remember, God’s in control!

Praying for peace and protection

upon you all, today!

We will see a victory!❤️

This year began for us with a total disaster. Our house was burned down and we literally lost everything. We wish for nothing more but to be able to live back in a place where we have spent the last 50 years together.
We are with a verified charity:

Thank you for your support. Barbara.

Superb blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like Wordpress or go for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m totally confused .. Any suggestions? Appreciate it! unpor.goodprizwomen.com/useful-tips/inflammation-i-axeln-sjukskrivning.php inflammation i axeln sjukskrivning
