Welcome Sylvia! Comfy, casual, chic and yes it has pockets! Waistband has thick elastic with a nice stretch and faux drawstring. Fabric is soft and stretchy and fit is small on hips.
Note: I tried a large on and it covers my knees. I am 5'5.5".
