RETURN POLICY

RETURNS- Don't love it? Send it back! While some item restrictions will apply, returns are easy! Please email us at returns@theskirtsociety.com. Return shipping fees will apply. Original shipping fees are not applied to store credit. Please note we do NOT offer refunds, we offer a Skirt Society store credit. (THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS)

MESH BAGS- If a mesh bag was included with your Pink Label item, it must be returned with the item or $5 will be deducted from your Store Credit.

EXCHANGES- Exchanges are easy! Give us an email at skirtsociety@gmail.com with the new size of the same item. ($5 return and $5 new shipping fees will apply). 

FINAL SALE ITEMS- The following are considered FINAL SALE and may not be returned or exchanged:
    •    Items with prices ending in .49
    •    Any sale item sold at 15% or more, Black Friday Sale items, Warehouse Sale items, Anniversary Sale items, Promotional items, Bucket Sale items (unless otherwise noted)
    •    Accessories (e.g. hats, handbags, socks, hair accessories, scarves, gloves, sunglasses, belts, key chains)
    •    Additional items may be Final Sale as indicated on their product page.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS - We do not provide return shipping labels for international orders, you are responsible for returning the product and paying any applicable shipping costs. Items returned should be insured and trackable to ensure the items are received without issue. Review our guidelines for eligible returns. Please note you are responsible for any duty fees your country may have. These duty fees are calculated by your country and go to your country.

CANCELED ORDERSIf you would like to cancel your order, there will be a $5.00 charge deducted from your refund. Please allow 3-10 business days for your refund to process.

TERMS- Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Merchandise must be returned in orginial condition (unworn, unwashed, unaltered) with original tags attached. We reserve the right to refuse any returns received after 14 days after the post marked delivery date or if we determine that the merchandise does not qualify for a return. Reasons we may refuse the return include but are not limited to: obviously been worn (e.g. sweat stains, grass stains, dirt stains, strong odors), if it has been modifiedor altered, or if it has excessive animal hair that is unable to be removed. If your return is refused, we will ship it back to you at your expense. 

DAMAGES- In the unlikely case you receive a damaged item. Please email us immediately, we will provide a prepaid label for the item. Please mail the item back within 10 days from the date it was delivered. After inspection, and the item is in fact damaged, we will issue either an exchange (SAME ITEM AND SIZE) OR store credit (depending on whether the item is in stock). Damages will not be accepted if they have been worn.

POP UP SHOP - Any items purchased during a pop up shop is returnable for store credit only. You have 7 business days to return.

COMMUNICATION- You will receive an email confirmation once your return has been processed. If you choose to ship the item back with a label created outside of our Returns Center, you will not receive an email when we have received your package at our warehouse, so please check your tracking number to check on the location of your return. You will receive an email within 3-7 business days regarding your store credit.

We inspect all merchandise returned to us and reserve the right to deny or refuse a refund based on the condition.

If you have reason to believe your return should have been accepted and processed by now, please email us at skirtsociety@gmail.com with your tracking information and let us know the order # and item(s) you returned.

WHOLESALE ORDERS - If you are not fully satisfied with your order, we are more than happy to assist you with your return requests. We advise all customers to check their goods immediately upon delivery in the event a style may be damaged or not as expected. A return claim must be made and returned in 14 days of the date delivered, damage claim within 5 business days of receipt of goods. We request customers to keep all packages unopened and include original manufacturers' packaging and label. Items should be unworn, unaltered and unwashed with all tags.

SHIPPING
  • We ship packages with USPS and UPS. We do not guarantee shipping time. We are not responsible for lost time during unforeseen circumstances ie. such as a power outage or natural disasters.  The shipping time frame is, SHIPPING TIME, once it is dropped off at the post office or UPS. It is not including the time that the order is processed and prepared.
  • International shipping is available for a flat fee.  WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOM DUTY FEES. We do not guarantee delivery time. **Shipping time frames are the time it takes your order to be shipped from the post office to your address. We do use the postal service to mail to avoid the higher duty fees that are charged with UPS.

LOST MAIL

  • We offer Shipping Protection as a way to protect your order should anything happen during transit. 

    The shipping protection is an affordable guarantee that if your package doesn’t make it to you or is damaged during transit, you will be compensated.  Skirt Society is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen packages, so shipping protection provides assurance that you will be covered should anything happen during shipment. 

    *Please note, shipping protection does not cover lost packages due to incorrect information being added before check out, so please ensure all your shipping information is correct before placing your order. 

    For Lost Packages:

    Tracking says delivered but is missing:

    -Please check your front and back porch, side door, garage area, bushes and mailbox to make sure it’s not hiding. Ask your neighbors if they might have received it for you.

    -Please wait at least 3 business days but no longer than 12 days from when your tracking says delivered before taking action.

    For Damaged or Stolen packages please reach out to our customer service team at skirtsociety@gmail.com. We would love to help in locating and finding a solution for your package.

    Shipping Protection is optional and you can choose to remove it from the check-out cart.

  • If your order is returned as undeliverable a store credit (minus shipping) will be given and your order will be canceled. If you want your order reshipped, you are responsible for shipping no matter what the price of the order was.

WE HAVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY AND ALL SALES

Please message us here and be sure to include the name the order was placed under or order number. We will reply within 24 hours. If you do not receive a reply, please check your spam or junk folder.
